How it started

IDJM Wannsee

Since quite a while we had been thinking of sailing together, however both of us had another partner before. After Amal’s partner quit sailing though, it was time to finally make the move and start sailing together seriously. We were not left a lot of time to prepare and started right into the International German Youth Championship on our home waters, Wannsee. Throughout the competition we quickly noticed, that we are made for each other and could adapt to one another quickly. Therefore we were able to sail satisfactory results finishing 7th overall on day three of four, but unfortunately dropping five places due to the last race. A great success and a great experience that will not be forgotten was our first place on day two.

Now we will focus on our flaws in training and prepare for the next big competition: the European Championships at Lake Garda, Italy.
