EC Hyères

After a brief training camp in Hyères with variations conditions, it was time to show our progress at the Eurocup number two of 2022. Due to strong winds the 29er fleet only raced on two days and after sailing only two races on day 1. This came handy because we ourselves had to accept a DNC in race two of day one due to a missing sail button and the reoccurring issue of our kicker losing its grip on the boom.

On day 2 we then managed to improve our result and move up the ranks to 12th. Although we believe we did not reach our full potential, finishing as the second best German team and 12th overall was satisfactory.

We are now looking forward to training back in Germany and especially Kiel, while we practice for our upcoming competitions there.
